My Approach...
My therapeutic approach is client-centered, nurturing authentic, compassionate connections.
Drawing from my research, I focus on client-led therapy, based on the work of Carl Rogers. I believe that effective music therapy stems from a collaborative, respectful bond between therapist and client. Through music and dialogue, we create a non-judgmental space where individuals can explore and build on their strengths.
I use various techniques, including psychodynamic therapy, improvisation, active listening, songwriting and sound meditations, tailored to each client's needs and interests. Whether through playing, listening to, or discussing music, this process naturally evokes emotions and insights, allowing the process to evolve naturally.
